What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on style of bodywork that employs light-touch manipulations to adjust and mobilize bones of the cranium and spine; and release restrictions in connective tissue throughout the body.  Light-touch means 5-20 grams of pressure or traction in manual therapy techniques.

Typical effects include an immediate decrease in pain, improvement in function, increase in mental clarity, relief from effects of stress, and a profound sense of inner peace.

I am an Upledger Certified CranioSacral Therapist, in practice since 2002.  Also a Certified Teaching Assistant and Study Group Leader for the Upledger Institute. I teach CranioSacral Therapy at the East West Healing Arts Institute in Milwaukee, and am a mentor as well.  Additional training includes Reiki energy work to Level II.

Address is given once your appointment is confirmed.

Fee is $75-$125 per session, you choose the fee in that range.*

House-calls are available for new patients age newborn - 5 years in the Milwaukee area.  

How long is a typical session?  Plan to spend up to 75 minutes per 60 minute session, or 1 hour and 45 minutes for a 90 minute session at Ommani.   

For pediatric sessions, children can feel complete after 30-45 minutes of therapy time. Extra time is allowed between sessions for sanitation cleaning purposes. 

Is it necessary to bring and wear a face mask to sessions?  Yes.  For the safety of my clients, myself, and the people in my life, I require you to bring and wear a face mask for the duration of the session. If you are unable to wear a face mask, please discuss with me before your appointment to see if I can accommodate your needs. See my COVID-19 Precautions page for more details.

Payment is due at the time service is rendered at all locations.

What to wear for CranioSacral Therapy sessions?  All therapy is performed fully clothed.  I suggest wearing comfortable clothes, or bring comfortable clothes to change into and wear for the session, your preference. 

Late cancellations:  There is no fee or penalty for late cancellations at this time for appointments canceled due to illness, or symptoms of illness, or complications related to symptoms of illness (fever, extreme sudden fatigue, sudden loss of taste/ smell, coughing, sneezing, sudden onset of body aches).
