Virtual CranioSacral Immune Response Study Groups - Coming up July 14th, 2026
Upcoming topic on July 14th :
Addressing Bee Stings: Craniosacral Approaches to Anaphylaxis Recovery and Immune Dysregulation
These monthly 90-minute virtual study groups are designed to deepen and extend the work of the CSIR curriculum in an ongoing, community-based format. Groups typically meet on the second Tuesday of the month from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm Central Time.
Topics rotate through the rich terrain of immune-related anatomy and physiology — including immune function, inflammation, and viruses — as well as specific aspects of the CSIR curriculum and how to apply them directly in client sessions. Each study group begins with a brief review of the Upledger paradigm. Topic requests are welcome, and you're encouraged to submit questions in advance by email.

Craniosacral Therapy & Immune Response:
Addressing Bee Stings: Craniosacral Approaches to Anaphylaxis Recovery and Immune Dysregulation
📅 Tuesday, July 14, 2026 | 5:00–6:30 pm Central
This study group uses a real case study — a severe bee sting reaction requiring emergency epinephrine, diphenhydramine, and methylprednisolone, followed by weeks of post-anaphylactic recovery — as a lens for exploring the immune system's response to acute allergic crisis.
We'll map the physiology of what happens during a normal response versus anaphylactic immune response, examine where that process can stall or remain "stuck" in an activated state, and discuss the secondary cascade of effects — steroid-induced insulin resistance, hypotension, and microbiome disruption — that can follow high-dose emergency intervention.
From there, we'll bring in our CSIR framework to consider how our work may support a nervous and immune system that's been through this kind of acute trauma and is having difficulty returning to baseline regulation. We’ll complete with a guided self-practice session.
Have a topic idea or question? I'd love to hear from you — feel free to email or message me anytime.
