Upledger Mentoring CEUs: Participants receive Category B Mentorship credit 


> In-Person Mentoring 
Explore a craniosacral topic of your choice, prep for an upcoming Upledger certification exam, or select from the topics below. Sessions are one hour minimum and can be prorated after the first hour.
• 1 person: $60 per hour
• 2 people: $100 per hour ($50 per person)
• 3 people: $120 per hour ($40 per person)
Have an Upledger study buddy — or two? Partner up to share the cost and practice techniques together.

You're welcome to invite Upledger-trained practitioners from your own network, or Emily can reach out to the local community to see who's interested. Choose a topic from the list below or bring one of your own.

Craniosacral Topics for study groups and/or mentoring

All of the following topics will eventually be covered in the Study Groups. 

These topics are also available for private mentoring sessions. If this speaks to you, contact Emily directly to schedule a "custom study group" or mentoring session. 

Techniques & Skills

  • The 10-Step Protocol — A comprehensive review of techniques, hand placement, signs of release, and indications. The protocol can be performed in part or in whole, and future Upledger coursework integrates seamlessly into it.

  • Palpation, Blending & Melding, and Indirect Technique — Another way to think of it: how to apply CST to the entire body.

  • Facilitated Segments — What they are, how to assess them, their impact on the autonomic nervous system, and how to address them therapeutically.

  • Full Body Evaluations — The four core evaluations and how to apply them across any modality.

  • Hyoid Anatomy and Release Review - In-depth anatomy review of hyoid, with review / practice of Hyoid Diaphragm Release technique with helpful modifications. (scheduled June 14th)

  • Improving SER Dialoguing — How and when to utilize SER for optimal outcomes, plus practical tips. Includes opening dialogue with yourself.

  • Intra-Oral Techniques — CS2 and SER1 techniques, including effective modifications. Nasal, zygoma, maxilla, vomer, palatines, suprahyoids. Emily also includes retrohyoids and nasal conchae. (Scheduled May 31st)

  • The OCB Release — Blending 4 smaller steps smoothly into an effective release that flows. 

  • The TMJ — Reviewing anatomy, attached muscles, nerve supply, joint structure, and relationship to stress.  Includes modifications and tips for more complete decompression and support. 


Anatomy & Application

  • Palpating Tissue — How to palpate into and support your clients' four tissue types and eleven organ systems.

  • The Pelvis — Organ systems, bones, sacrum, and hips: an anatomy review with CST assessment and support. 

  • Cardiovascular System — Anatomy review with CST assessment and support.

  • Respiratory System — Anatomy review with CST assessment and support.

  • Digestive System — Anatomy review with CST assessment and support 

  • Renal System — Anatomy review with CST assessment and support.

  • Endocrine System — Anatomy review with CST assessment and support.

  • Extremities: Hands & Feet — Anatomy review with CST assessment, and support, including some unwinding tips.


Specialized Topics

  • Performing the intra-oral techniques on yourself — A practical guide to self-application

  • Supporting clients through surgical and dental procedures — Including dental work, C-sections, joint replacements, and more. We'll cover techniques to support ANS regulation before and after procedures, help the body process associated medications, and minimize shock to the tissues.

  • Working with specific client conditions — Bring your cases. We'll explore approaches for supporting your clients with CST.

  • Complex client presentations — When and how to work outside the 10-step protocol: adapting to atypical presentations and some modifications.

  • How CST supports the senses — Vision, olfactory, taste, hearing, touch (dermatomes), balance, proprioception, and enteroception.
